User talk:LeonSoft
Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although we welcome all contributions, I fear we have to delete your userpage. Wikipedia provides userpages to its contributors so they can tell us a bit about themselves. However, we ask them to keep non-Wikipedia related content to a minimum. I see that your only contributions to Wikipedia are this page, and unfortunately, Wikipedia is not a free webhost. If you wish to retrieve the content so you can host it somewhere else, don't hesitate to ask me either on my talk page or by e-mail. Sorry for the misunderstanding! -- Luk talk 11:42, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
Re: Deletion of LeonSoft user's page.
[edit]Hi and thank you for your message.
Indeed, you were at the wrong place for your article ;). In order to ensure that all content hosted on Wikipedia is verifiable and correctly sourced, editors have put in place notability criterion that every article must meet to merit their stand alone article. There are specific criterion for companies that can be found at Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). However, you will find that these are not trivial (in short, a company must have been covered in depth by reliable sources, for example the media).
In fact, most articles about "notable" companies are started by people that are have no personal link with the organization. As you can imagine, the inherent conflicts of interest make it almost impossible to adopt the mandatory neutral point of view that every article must meet. As it stood before I deleted it, your article needed citations and notes to allow our readers to verify its content (and was deleted on these grounds), however the main problem is that you probably should not write about your own company. Sorry about the bad news.
If you need further help, please don't hesitate to post on my talk page or to put {{helpme}} followed by your question on this page. -- Luk talk 16:38, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
