Hellgrammite
Hellgrammite is the larvae of dobsonfly.
Hellgrammite is a fictional supervillain appearing in DC Comics. He first appeared in The Brave and the Bold #80 (October-November, 1968).
History
An unnamed entomologist, Hellgrammite designed a number of gimmicks that duplicated insect powers and went on a crime spree, loudly declaring which insect he was duplicating as he used that power. Later, Hellgrammite made a deal with the devilish Neron, trading his soul in return for real power. He gained inherent insect powers but his costume became his permanent look. He fought Superman on different occasions and the first time was when Hellgrammite tried to kill Lex Luthor.
Although there were rumors of Hellgrammite getting killed as a member of the Suicide Squad, it was a similar villain named Larvanaut who died that time.

In Justice League Unlimited, Hellgrammite was one of a few metahumans who appeared at Roulette's Meta-Brawl.
