John Mark Dempsey (Jack) is an Australian politician. He represents the division of Bundaberg in the Queensland Legislative Assembly, and was first elected at the 2006 State election, originally for the National Party [1] He now represents the Liberal National Party and was the Shadow Minister for Child Safety and Shadow Minister for Sport(April 2009 to November 2010).[2] Dempsey was appointed the Shadow Minister for the Environment and the Shadow Minister for Sport and Recreation in November 2010. He was appointed in 2011 as Shadow Minister for Mining and Resource Management.
