I have read a description of Leroy Mendonca, Medal of Honor recepient, the article list him as Portugese and Filipino. He is pure Portugese. I know this because he was my uncle. His sister was my Mother and she was the sponsor of the ship the Army comissioned and named for him. Please correct your article. He has another sister, Lucille, who is still living in Hawaii.
