Hello

Our son, teacher in North Dakota called to ask if Uncle Leroy was Filipino. Leroy received the MEDAL OF HONOR for his actions in Korea. A student question our son about Leroy and showed him your article. Leroy was 100% Portuguiese. Your article says Leroy was Filipino. Please change your article

It IS my intention to alter the entry on Leroy Mendonca. He was full-blooded Portugese. Not a Filipino. He was my uncle, his sister was my Mother, she was the sponsor of the army ship named for him. The family was Portugese only. Please change your story.

Hi, if your are a family member and you dispute the claims then you have two options, either find and present supporting citations for us to alter the article or contack WP:OTRS and provide confirmatation of who you say you are and as much family detail as possible to support your claim. Please do not simply continue to dispute and remove the cited content as you that would be disruptive and your editing privileges could be restricted.
