Frank PR is a consumer public relations firm with offices in Camden Town, London, UK and Surry Hills, Sydney, Australia. Frank PR was founded in September 2000 by CEO Graham Goodkind [1] and MD Andrew Bloch[2]. In October 2007, Frank PR was acquired by Photon Group Limited (Photon), a specialist marketing and communications services company that is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange [3]. In March 2009, the Sydney office opened for business [4] . The other UK MDs of Frank are Frankie Cory and Alex Grier. Myf McGregor is the MD of Frank Australia.

Frank is the 29th largest PR consultancy in the UK with a fee income of £6.829m [5].

In pure consumer PR revenue terms, Frank is the 5th biggest in the UK [6]. In an international context, with the 2 offices and US$10.8m revenue, Frank is already ranked as the 84th largest consultancy globally and in 2010 was the 5th fastest growing PR company of the top 250 in the world [7].

Frank specialises in providing consumer public relations services to leading brands and products, challenger brands, entrepreneurial organisations, social movements and multinationals. As well as traditional consumer PR, Frank also has specialist teams offering digital, experiential, celebrity, corporate social responsibility and product placement based campaigns. Clients in the UK (as at May 2011) include Alton Towers [8], Activision [9], Beatbullying [10], BlackBerry[11], Disney [12][12], Fosters, Grolsch [13], Nestle [14][15], npower [15] [16], Ocado [17], SodaStream [16][18] and Whitbread Hotels & Restaurants [17]. Clients in Australia (as at the same date) include BlackBerry, Football Federation Australia [18], Pernod Ricard [19], Reckitt Benckiser [20] and the Singapore Tourism Board [21].

Frank has won numerous awards for its work and continues to do so. The agency is currently Marketing’s PR Agency of the Year [22], an award it also received in 2004 and 2005, making it the only agency to have received the prestigious award three times.

It has won; Marketing Magazines PR Agency of the Year 2005, Marketing Magazines PR Agency of the Year 2006 [23], Marketing Magazines PR Agency of the Year 2010 [24][28], PR Week Awards Consumer Campaign of the year 2004, PR Week Awards Campaign of the Year Gold Award 2004, PR Week Awards Consumer Campaign of the year 2005, PR Week Awards Consumer Campaign of the year 2008 [25], PR Week Awards Consumer Campaign of the year 2010 [26].

Frank owns the trademark in the word Talkability®[27] and accordingly the ethos of the agency is focused on coming up with creative ideas and platforms that kickstart buzz and positive word-of-mouth. In 2010 it also registered the words Blogability®[28] and [29]Tweetability® as trademarks, reflecting the application of Talkability® in social and digital media arenas.
