Wii Play: Motion (known as Wii Remote Plus Variety (Wiiリモコンプラス バラエティ, Wii Remocon Purasu Baraeti)) is an upcoming party video game for the Wii console and the sequel to the 2006 game Wii Play. Originally announced by Nintendo's official press release on April 12, 2011, the game is slated for release in North America on June 13 and in Europe on June 24.[1][2] All copies of Wii Play: Motion will be bundled with a Wii Remote Plus controller.

Like its predecessor, Wii Play: Motion is a minigame collection that features Miis as playable characters. All the minigames require use of the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which allows Wii Remote movement to be detected with greater accuracy. Twelve minigames are set to appear in Wii Play: Motion, which include simulations of Whack-a-Mole and stone skipping.[1][2]
