Terry Barber is an American countertenor. He is the lead vocalist for Adiemus Vocalise and New Trinity Baroque ensembles and a past member of Chanticleer. He has recorded several tracks for the Buddha Bar series including the club hit, "The World Is A Stage" as well as solo vocals for Sony Classical, Warner Teldec, EMI, Dorian, and Columbia Records.

Barber joined the roster of the Metropolitan Opera 2002 season.[citation needed] His debut performance at Carnegie Hall was in the role of Orlovsky in Die Fledermaus on New Year's Eve 2004. Barber has also performed as a soloist for the New York City Opera, Spoleto Festival USA, and New York Collegium.

Internationally acclaimed countertenor, Terry Barber, is known for his extraordinary range both vocally and stylistically. Past member of the multiple-Grammy winning group, Chanticleer, Terry Barber has been a soloist for the best venues around the world, from the Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall, to Moscow’s Svetlanov Hall, and has also appeared as a soloist on recordings for every major record label with a variety of artists from Madonna to the London Philharmonic. Barber has a Masters degree in historically informed performance from Trinity College, London, is committed to supporting arts education, and founded Artists For A Cause Inc., a nonprofit which helps artists in every genre to improve communities.
