Ferenc Marič (Slovene: Franc Marič, Prekmurian: Ferenc Marič) (June 11, 1791 – ?) was a Hungarian Slovene teacher and poet.
Born in Istvánfalva (Apátistvánfalva), his father György Marits (sic!) was the first teacher and cantor in the village. György was born in Gerecsavecz (Gerečavci, between Sveti Jurij and Večeslavci). Ferenc's mother Anna Trájber German descent from Ritkarócz (Ritkaháza, Kétvölgy). His career began in Felsőszölnök, such as assistent teacher of Mihály Bertalanits (Bertalanits also was born in Gerečavci). Bertalanits and Marics also of copy and distributed to the Ruzsics's hymnal: Marics in Istvánfalva, Bertalanits in Pečarovci.
Marics between 1815 and 1842 lived and worked in Istvánfalva. In 1842 retired and lived in Čepinci. Place of his death is unknown.
