The Patalkot Express or Chhindwara - New Delhi Express is a Mail/Express train which runs between Chhindwara Junction railway station in the city of Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh and New Delhi, the capital of India. The name "Patalkot" signifies the nearest tourist spot of Patalkot

Arrival and Departure

Present Patalkot express (11103/11104)/ Kanahan Valley express 11101/11102 runs between Chhindwara and Jhansi/Gwalior are planned to be extended to Sarai Rohilla (Delhi)with new train numbers (14009, 14010, 14019, 14020)and new time table. Present train bookings have been suspended from Aug end. Hopefully the new trains will commence operation in Sep 11.

Routes and Halts

The train goes via. Parasia Junction, Amla Junction, Itarsi Junction, Bhopal Junction and Agra Cantt.. The important halts of the train are :

  • 10 SLEEPER
  • 4 GENERAL
  • 1 PANTRY CAR
  • 1 PARCEL VAN
  • 2 Brake cum Luggage Van

Average speed and Frequency

The train runs with an average speed of 49 k.m/h, and Four days a week from both the cites
