Where to direct

This article re-directed to British Isles, but then it was changed to British Isles naming dispute on August 22, 2011 - without a consensus for such a change. I've reverted that unilateral change & now editors must decide with direction is best. IMHO, this article should be deleted. GoodDay (talk) 23:21, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If GoodDay you think the article should be deleted might I suggest that you start that procedure rather than reverting other people's edits. I disagree with the redirect going to BI. Someone who types in UK & Ireland is more likely to be aware of the term BI and may be looking for more information on the two countries. In fact on reflection I think a better redirect would be Republic of Ireland – United Kingdom relations. Bjmullan (talk) 10:34, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Get a consensus for any change you prefer. GoodDay (talk) 19:28, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
What about a similar dab page to Great Britain and Ireland? That way, all the possible bases can be covered. --HighKing (talk) 11:49, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent idea HK. I would support that option. Bjmullan (talk) 11:59, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest it goes to RoI and UK relations. 92.24.255.42 (talk) 13:35, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
