Kristian Lindbom (Born 18 September, 1989) is an Australian racing car driver. He is a race winner in the Australian Formula Ford Championship and the Australian Formula 3 Championship. He is also a 5 time Australian Go-Karting champion.
Formula Ford
Kristian competed in the Australian Formula Ford Championship from 2006 through to 2008 for Borland Racing Developments (2006–2007) and Sonic Motor Racing Services (2008). Over the 3 years he won 6 races, 28 podiums, 3 pole positions and 4 fastest laps.
Formula 3
In the 2009 and 2010 seasons Kristian had showings in Formula 3 on three occasions with limited success due to a lack of testing laps prior to races.
In 2011, At the Darwin round of V8 Supercars where Kristian was working for Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport, a car capable of race wins became vacant. Kristian took the opportunity with both hands and withdrew $2,000 from his credit card called on a big favor from a Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport team sponsor to pay for his tires and called on each team member to chip in $50 each for fuel. 15 minutes before the first qualifying session Kristian fronted with his helmet and the money, sat in the car for the first time, and the first time in 14 months, as he drove out of the garage and finished the session in 1st place.
Kristian went on to win the inaugural City of Darwin Cup.
V8 Supercars
Kristian made a successful test debut with Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport in August 2011. He completed 25 laps at Winton Motor Raceway and posted times competitive to current V8 Supercar competition. In September of 2011 he tested for Walkinshaw Racing at Winton
