Hello Ajraddatz (Talk) 01:30, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Talk

Yeah, well, sometimes I get bored. And then I edit pages to say silly and sometimes vulgar things. It doesn't make me a bad person. I was going to change it back myself later. (So don't put my name in your Death Note, haha) I can get why vandalism is bad, but do we really need a bunch of people obsessively going over every change on every page to check for anything that's 'non-constructive'? Just saying, don't get all lecture-y and mad on me. 97.106.13.162 (talk) 22:05, 7 April 2011 (UTC)Rho[reply]

Sinopec

Noticed that you reverted my edits to Sinopec. I think cydebot is making a mistake here; I've explained my edits in the Sinopec talk page as attempting to fix the article's POV issues (based on its neutrality tag) and bring its format in line with other articles about energy firms. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.115.168.245 (talk) 01:55, 13 January 2011 (UTC) WHO CARES ABOUT U — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arsenalfc066 (talkcontribs) 02:14, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

TW

I notice that you have been using TW to make rollbacks, is it possible that you could subsequently warn the user, so that we can keep track as to if they need to be banned or not. More specifically Charles_Cullen.

This would be greatly appreciated, --Jab843 (talk) 03:46, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vandal edit Warnings

You warned Megaman7593 for an edit here but your Warning is missing the article-name. Megaman7593 has done at least 3 vandal-edits today, it would be very helpful to other editors if you would include the article-name in any future Warnings. Thank you. Shearonink (talk) 02:23, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, TyA. You have new messages at Shearonink's talk page.
Message added 02:47, 30 October 2010 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.[reply]

Tip

While I understand your intentions, this edit is not really needed unless its an abuse of talk pages, user talk pages have the right to blank their own talk page as it is assumed he acknowledged the warning. The user, however, cannot removed declined unblock request and block messages.--iGeMiNix 15:42, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I just figured that since it was a warning, other editors that might also be warning him may like to see the history of the warnings. ZamorakO o (talk) 20:01, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes but that is why we have the page history for. :) Regardless the user keeps vandalizing after the warnings, you can just report them.--iGeMiNix 20:06, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. :3 ZamorakO o (talk) 20:29, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Rollback

I am about 99% ready to grant you rollback. However, there are just a few indications that you are not fully aware of some of Wikipedia's methods, such as the edit mentioned above in which you told a user not to remove warnings from their own user page. Details like this are very minor in proportion to the good work you are doing, but it is very easy using Huggle to overdo things, and I am a little reluctant to put such a tool in the hands of someone who is still rather unsure. I suggest waiting a while, and then asking again. If you like you can ask me directly on my talk page in a month or so, rather than on Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Rollback, and I will look positively on your request, since I have already reviewed your editing history. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:05, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks for your feedback, and I shall read over some of the policies when I get a chance. ZamorakO o (talk) 21:18, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Place D'Youville

Hello ZamorakO o. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Place D'Youville, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: See [1], this isn't orphaned, which is among the requirements for G6. Thank you. Courcelles 16:28, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But it's a disambig page for 2 pages that do not exist. ZamorakO o (talk) 16:39, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Correct. But read Template:Db-disambig carefully, it says right at the top that it is a requirement that it be orphaned, which this page is not. The articles will eventually exist, and that's good enough. Courcelles 16:46, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. ZamorakO o (talk) 16:48, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your rollback request

Hello ZamorakO o, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert anything else (such as by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. If you think an edit should require a reason for reverting, then don't use rollback and instead, use a manual edit summary. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 13:24, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I was just coming here to tell you I was about to grant you rollback rights, but I see it's been done. Sorry for the time it has taken to respond: I have had less time available for Wikipedia over the last few days than usually. A word of warning: It is very easy to make mistakes with Huggle, so be careful. Often edits which look at a glance like vandalism have a good reason which is only visible if you look at the editing history of the page, so if there is any doubt at all stop and check. A common example of this is seeing an article blanked: it is important to make sure it isn't the author of the article wanting it deleted before you take action. However, looking at your editing history I am sure you will use the tool responsibly. JamesBWatson (talk) 17:59, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged revisions, underwent a two-month trial which ended on 15 August 2010. Its continued use is still being discussed by the community, you are free to participate in such discussions. Many articles still have pending changes protection applied, however, and the ability to review pending changes continues to be of use.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under level 1 pending changes and edits made by non-reviewers to level 2 pending changes protected articles (usually high traffic articles). Pending changes was applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't grant you status nor change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Dabomb87 (talk) 15:24, 14 January 2011 (UTC) [reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:17, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Did I not thank you?

Random Thought

Methinks you play Runescape. What level are you? 43?9enter (talk) 01:56, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gah, you're so lucky your parents let you be a member. I'm level 87. Meanwhile, what do you think of the climbing boots update? 43?9enter (talk) 02:58, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's the main cause of current inflation (I remember when 100k was considered rich) and the Runescape Communist Revolution. (See the Rants forum for more details) But generally it was the PKers who got rich really quickly who actually were affected, and those people who sell climbing boots for money. Do you think Unicows is a good way for money? And also, what do you do for money? 43?9enter (talk) 03:08, 24 March 2011 (UTC)givemefreemembershipplease:P[reply]
Isn't that pretty slow? And won't you have to replenish your coffers with the money earned? 43?9enter (talk) 03:11, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'll assume maximum efficiency can be achieved via completion of Royal Trouble then. Am I right? 43?9enter (talk) 03:14, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

thanks

For reverting the vandalism to my user page. It is much appreciated. Someone with a Bell IP hates me for reasons I do not know.... Dbrodbeck (talk) 04:16, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about the arbitration form

I'm sorry about the form I really thought it was overlaying what I wrote, I didn't realize I was destroying the content. I would love to not have to go to arbitration by the way but I don't know what else to do. I am trying to add a simple fact to the Big Red Movie page of which I had supporting documentation but he kept removing it. I have tried communicating with him and he just doesn't respond. So if you have any ideas how I can block him from removing valid information please let me know. I would prefer a simpler solution too!! THanks for letting me know I was messing up the form, I am new here. I also just learned about the 3r rule. So can you help me understand why he can continue to revert beyond that limit. just asking, seems he violated that several times today — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sandots (talkcontribs) 22:34, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Playbook

I saw you reverted this edit to the music section (see http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Playbook_%28How_I_Met_Your_Mother%29&action=historysubmit&diff=447583794&oldid=447583682 ) and I was wondering if you read the removed content that you reverted.

It is a Spanish language summary of the episode, and doesn't belong in the English Wikipedia entry at all, much less in the "Music" section of the article, I'm not sure that an explanation was really needed for removing that content. Kelbesque (talk) 16:46, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, my mistake entirely. I looked at my contributions for that time, and noticed I reverted 2 other edits very quickly after that one, so I must of rushed through that edit to revert some of those others. Once again, sorry about that. ZamorakO o (talk) 21:08, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for Protecting the Ferrets

Guardian of Ferrets
Thank you for protecting the Wikipedia ferret article from vandalism. It is not nice when people offend the ferret species by vandalizing its Wikipedia page. And you have protected it and guarded it against unsourced and probably hoxical information. The ferrets and I all thank you! Smartyllama (talk) 17:57, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why?

Why are you deleting that page, it's created by me. No Copyright. I did everything myself. Like the Image. That page just needs to be locked to prevent anyone from editing it. Except admins and me.
