Black Masses is an album by the doom metal band Electric Wizard. It is the band's seventh album and first with bassist Tas Danazoglou. It was released on 1 November 2010. A 'die hard' two LP gate-fold vinyl edition was also released, as with the previous album, Witchcult Today.
This is their first album since Electric Wizard to not feature a song longer than 10 minutes in length.
Venus In Furs Based on the book of the same name by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch although it makes refences to the film of the same name), by Jesús Franco.
Satyr IX is a reference to the film company of the same name.
