Panopticism Feedback

Some constructive criticism (the best I can do?!?) for your section on post-panopticism: first, I would question whether the noun 'panopticism' or adjective 'panoptical' (as opposed to the Panopticon) need be capitalized as they, as you say, serve a metaphorical purpose (still trying to work on that perhaps in the top section).

Secondly, I might ask how exactly Bentham's design isn't synonymous to some degree with Panopticons II & III. How exactly do these definitions give us a new lens for looking at panopticism? (i.e. It seems to me that the panoptic prison is rather Orwellian in a sense, while high-tech dataveillance/data-mining might oscillate between 'panoptic' and 'post-panoptic.') --Eagleton89 (talk) 18:07, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
