Rafael Baca (born September 11, 1989 in Tuxpan) is a Mexican footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer.

Club career

On July 8, 2011, Baca signed a Major League Soccer contract with the San Jose Earthquakes.[1]

One day after being signed, Baca made his professional debut coming on as a substitute in the 80th minute for Simon Dawkins. The game ended in a 0-0 tie against the Philadelphia Union.[2]

College Soccer

Baca attended LMU for college, where he was the star player of his team. His coach, Paul Krumpe, also played professional soccer.
