Blackjack King is a BlackBerry game based on the popular card game, Blackjack, currently in development by Ottawa based Magmic Games.

Gameplay

In addition to the standard Blackjack rules of play[1], Blackjack King will offer additional challenges and achievements for players to acquire.

Daily Lottery

Blackjack King features a daily lottery where players have the chance to win between 1000 and 25,000 chips toward their current chip count. Players are notified as they log in to the game and are immediately given access to these chips.

Challenge Mode

The game will offer a daily challenge that provides each user with either one or two decks of cards with the goal is to accumulate the most amount of money by going through the deck once. The game then submits this amount to Magmic's server where a winner is determined. The player with the most amount, will be crowned the "Blackjack King". In addition to crowning a winner, players accumulating more than their starting amount (20% of their total bank roll) will earn bonus chips.

  • Challenge Rewards
    • 0-Star: Be under the players starting amount and the player loses it all.
    • 1-Star: If the player makes any profit over the starting amount, up to 1.5x the starting bank roll, then the player takes whatever they made.
    • 2-Star: If the player makes any profit over the starting amount, up to 2x the starting bank roll, then the player takes whatever they made plus 25%.
    • 3-Star: If the player makes any profit over the starting amount, 2x the starting bank roll and above, then the player takes whatever they made plus 75%.
