MechaChrist- the one and only

My main authority is history and literature, but I have a solid background in linguistics and various other seemingly random topics that I've been interested enough to read about heavily and/or take a class or two on.

I am a native speaker of English and can manage day-to-day in German. I write and have been published, although far from in anything major, and I play several instruments, although not well. I hope to be pleased and helpful during my experience with Wikipedia.
