All three accounts appear to be essentially single-purpose accounts dedicated to disruptively editing two pages in all of wikipedia, that of Roger Bingham and Vilayanur S. Ramachandran (see Special:Contributions/Neurorel Special:Contributions/Edgeform Special:Contributions/Wagonlease). All three accounts show similar patterns of rare edits, making similar types of edits questioning the accomplishments of these two individuals, and only these two individuals. None of them have any information about themselves on the account page, and the only talk is between the three accounts. It appears that this is merely intended to mislead others into thinking that these are truly separate accounts. this would further suggest the user might is aware of the fact that this is in violation of wikipedia policies, and is making efforts to cover his/her tracks. Indeed, I would not be surprised that these three accounts use different IP addresses, but all within the same geographical area (for example, a home computer, a work computer, etc) in order to further throw off the suspicion of sock puppetry.
I first encountered neurorel on the V.S. Ramachandran page, which I have edited and watched for years, and then saw the more recent edits by Edgeform. Seeing these two new editors come to the same page, making similar types of edits tipped me off that there might be something fishy going on here, and it tipped me off to look at their edit histories, where I also saw the disruptive editing pattern on the Roger Bingham page. - Additional note: not only the selection of pages, but also the timing of the edits suggests that these might be the same person, as Neurorel began editing on the Roger Bingham page, and then began editing the V.S. Ramachandran page on December 27. Similarly, Edgeform began by editing the Roger Bingham page, and after Neurorel began editing on the V.S. Ramachandran page Edgeform did too, on January 23. In either case, there appears to be some coordination in the use of these two accounts, albeit slowly. Edhubbard (talk) 11:27, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Clerk endorsed - Hmm... I'm not convinced Wagonlease is the same, as these two edits are sort of contradictory. Anyway, I'm endorsing the CU to figure out if the other two are related. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 02:48, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
- As far as I can tell, they are
Unrelated. Different UAs, different IPs, and different geolocations. Tiptoety talk 01:30, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
- Thought so. Closing. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 02:51, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Please look at the edit summary of this edit by the IP: [1]. Very strange. I am familiar with the previous SPI, now archived, and I know that the evidence did not indicate anything linking the accounts. I cannot tell whether this edit summary means that there actually is a connection between the registered accounts, or whether the IP is someone else trying to stir up trouble. Hopefully, you can figure this out. Thanks! Tryptofish (talk) 21:22, 10 December 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Clerk endorsed - Likely, but I'll endorse to confirm. Note that there won't be any comment on the IP. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 21:31, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
- A connection between Neurorel and Edgeform is definitely
Possible, and it strikes me as
Likely. I'd say they're related. No comment on the IP. WilliamH (talk) 23:47, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Administrator note On behavioral grounds, along with the CU findings, I've blocked and tagged Edgeform. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 14:24, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
