Speedy deletion declined: Ricardo Mbarkho

Hello Eeekster. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Ricardo Mbarkho, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Thank you. ϢereSpielChequers 22:42, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You care to enlighten me on just where that assertion is? I don't see one. Eeekster (talk) 22:43, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Eekster, I'm taking "His work is presented in several festivals and exhibitions throughout the world" as an assertion of importance. That doesn't mean he'd necessarily survive AFD, a search for refs might or might not pan out. ϢereSpielChequers 23:04, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't take that as being enough since there are lots of festivals that lack notability. But the article has been improved and looks okay now. Eeekster (talk) 01:40, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations

Thanks. I don't know why I bother--Godwhale (talk) 12:42, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is it that hard to include sources? Eeekster (talk) 21:52, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Three Little Birds

Hello. Why has the picture i've uploaded been marked for speedy deletion? It says copyright reasons, however Karen David has emailed the wikipedia email address with permission for the photo to be uploaded. Gemmamerritt (talk) 01:26, 3 January 2012 (UTC) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Karen%27s_EP_-_Three_Little_Birds.jpg[reply]

If the email happens and contains enough information, the tag will be removed by the OTRS person. Eeekster (talk) 01:39, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thank you. Gemmamerritt (talk) 18:07, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kicked into touch

The cover of a book 'Kicked into touch' is my copyright I own the cover design and images. Long Ben Every (talk) 22:31, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss the issue at the notice page referenced in the delete tag header. Eeekster (talk) 22:32, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I've already attached as well as emailed directly to Wikipedia - the license agreements written directly by the owners/creators of all the images I have been using on the page for Simon_Britton.

These license agreements are on file with both wikipedia via email as well as attached to the images in the information section, along with all the contact information for the original author. I don't know why you're claiming it doesn't exist. I specifically got the license agreements from the photograhers for all of these files. Please look again - these images should NOT be deleted. All licenses are on file with Wikipedia!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.25.128.95 (talk) 23:43, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And yet I don't see an OTRS tag on the image. Eeekster (talk) 00:05, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I received a message saying that there are copyright issues with the file File:Wind publication list 1996.pdf, which can be found at (in case link doesn't work): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Wind_publication_list_1996.pdf

I Lynnbwilsoniii (talk) created these PDF files, which are Wind spacecraft publication lists. There are no copyright issues here, as all the information is completely open and free to the public.

Can you explain why this file and none of the other 15 was flagged with a copyright issue? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lynnbwilsoniii (talkcontribs) 03:45, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why? Because I thought one was enough for now. Doing just one saves me work and allows you to explain in the discussion, if you can, why they aren't subject copyright. Eeekster (talk) 03:51, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am the Wind spacecraft deputy project scientist, currently at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The PDF files are nothing more than a compilation of publications that used (directly or indirectly) data from one of the Wind spacecraft's suite of instruments. These lists were compiled for PR purposes and for the upcoming senior review in 2013 (available to the public at: http://wind.nasa.gov/). All references were compiled using Google Scholar and NASA ADS (BibTeX references). As Wind was part of ISTP and funded by NASA, it is subject to the Freedom of Information Act as well. Therefore, all of its data is publicly available at CDAWeb. Regardless of how I obtained the information, I fail to see how a list of publications from a ~17 year old spacecraft can be, or needs to be, copyrighted. I already have all of this information available on NASA's Wind spacecraft page at: http://wind.nasa.gov/bibliographies.php . Is this a sufficient remedy? I don't think its Spamdexing

Admittedly I am new at this, but I don't think the link I posted in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_Cells#External_links to the TEKTELIC web site is any form of link spam, especially since some of the other external links already point to our clients and partners. What is required to have this link added? Thank you! Bmbarnowski (talk) 16:54, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

But it's your site and that makes it a conflict of interest. Eeekster (talk) 21:25, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Scoschana Rabinovici

Would you help me fix the spelling of the header of this enty. The reason there are no links to this article is because the name is misspelled. This page should be titled Schoschana Robinovici, NOT Scoschana Rabinovici. Thanks for your help. George.kvakovszky — Preceding unsigned comment added by George.kvakovszky (talkcontribs) 22:48, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Eeekster (talk) 22:54, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Still having problems with spelling of Schoschana Rabinovici's name

Would you be so kind as to change the title of this article? from...

Schoschana Robinovici to Schoschana Rabinovici (Robinovici is incorrect; Rabinovici is correct). I apologize but I had misspelled this authors last name in my earlier request (to change the spelling of her first name).

In conclusion, the correct name is: Schoschana Rabinovici

Thanks, George.kvakovszky — Preceding unsigned comment added by George.kvakovszky (talkcontribs) 02:17, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Eeekster (talk) 02:33, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Automated messages

I deleted your image notice because it was automated and as you can see I am working on the image I uploaded. If you took it personally, I apologize. It wasn't automated. Please don't remove the deletion tags without fixing the problem. Eeekster (talk) 23:21, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just posted the license, with a clear edit summary should you need to renom. –BuickCenturyDriver 23:23, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
