The following is a list of characters from Nickelodeon's live-action show House of Anubis.[1]

Nina Martin

Nina Martin is the primary protagonist of the series and Fabian's romantic interest. She is smart and kind. Previously, she lived with her grandmother in the United States before coming to Anubis House and the school on a scholarship. Nina is an orphan as her parents died in a car crash 6 months before she came to England; she always tells people that her parents died when she was very young. She is portrayed to be very good at sneaking around and searching for clues. She is the alpha of Sibuna (Anubis backwards and Fabian is her "Beta" (second in command) and she is the one who Sarah/Emily gave the locket to. As it is shown with the Arabic dictionary that she and Fabian found as the solution to the riddle, only Nina can use the power of the locket. Her closest friends are Amber and Fabian. And although she denies it, Nina also appears to have an obvious crush on Fabian, as she kissed him on the cheek in House of Hazards. After Amber and Patricia quit on her, Fabian tells her that he "wouldn't give up on Sarah, the quest and certainly not on you [Nina]". She is usually caring, level-headed, and fearless. She is also very clever, as she has solved several clues, such as the puzzle pieces which open with Sarah's and her numbers, respectively, the Arabic dictionary, and the fake cylinder. Another way that we could tell that Nina might possibly like Fabian as more than a friend is when she finally told Fabian, Alfie, who later becomes a member of Sibuna, and Patricia that Sarah had died, Fabian put his arm around her in a comforting gesture and she leaned her head on his chest and cried for a couple seconds. Nina's birthday is July 7, 1995 at 7:00a.m the same birthday as Joy, but Joy was born at 7:00p.m. Because of this and the fact that she keeps hearing voices, hears the house talk, and the fact that she is the only one who can use the locket, Fabian thinks that Nina is the Chosen One, instead of Joy. In House of Pests, she and Fabian sneak out of the school to retrieve the puzzle pieces, cylinders, and all the other proof. It is shown that she may likeFabian by the giggling and flirtatious tone in her voice when she is talking to him while they are waiting for Victor to leave Anubis House. In House of Reservation, Mara, Amber, and Mick ask Fabian if he's going to ask Nina to the end of term prom, and when Amber was about to ask Nina for him he acts like he likes Patricia. This makes Nina jealous. But things are okay in the season finale when he tells her he doesn't like Patricia Fabian tries to ask her to be his prom date but always get's interrupted but finally succeeds. It turns out Nina is the Chosen One and she assembles the cup before the chosen hour is up. She successfully puts the cup together and then Rufus drinks the fake elixir out of it. It turns out the elixir was fake because Fabian had replaced it like an insurance policy. After she finds this out, she says she loves him. She and Fabian kiss at the prom after being nominated prom queen and king. Afterwards it is shown that Nina had hidden the Cup of Ankh underneath the stage of the auditorium. It is now confirmed by Nickelodeon that Fabian and Nina are boyfriend and girlfriend. She is one of the seven acolytes. In season two, Nina gets back together with all her friends, but it is also mentioned that there is some sort of ghost in the cellar and if they don't find some sort of mask that belongs to it, Nina will lose her life. In Season 2, Fabian writes a poem for Nina but after Jerome takes it it gets to Joy and she believes it is for her. Joy then kisses Fabian. Nina finds out and breaks up with him.

Nina is portrayed by Nathalia Ramos.

Fabian Rutter

Fabian Rutter is a resident of the House of Anubis and he is Nina's friend and romantic interest while he serves as the secondary protagonist of the series. He sticks up for her and helps Nina find the clues and puzzle pieces. He is Nina's second in command of the Sibuna club (as demonstrated when Nina briefly backs out of the club and gives him her locket so he could take her place for a bit), and he is based on Fabian from Het Huis Anubis. He goes with Nina the second time she goes up to the attic and every other time afterwards. At the end of the finale he and Nina share their first kiss (starting a signposted relationship between them) after they are announced prom king and queen by Amber. Fabian is shown to be attracted towards Nina throughout the season, though he never confides this to any other members of Anubis house, however he does not make direct denials about his feelings for her, as demonstrated when he says her eyes are pretty, when he and Nina are hiding in the attic from Victor and he wraps he jacket over Nina's shoulders to warm her up, or in the season finale when he calls her "beautiful." He also found it difficult to ask her to prom. He was the first to welcome Nina into the house and the two become close friends quickly. He defends her when the other members of the house (particularly Patricia) are resentful or offensive and is keen to help her with the search. Before Nina came and him and Joy were a bit close ( episode 45 ) It is confimed by Nickelodeon that him and Nina are boyfriend and girlfriend. Fabian is portrayed as smart, kind, thoughtful, honest and willing to stand up for himself and his friends. He spends most of his free time solving the riddles found in the search, either alone or with his fellow Sibuna club members, however it is also shown the character can play the guitar in the 12th ten-minute short when he is practicing the morning after he and Nina narrowly escaped being caught by Victor in the attic, he is also seen practicing in his room after lights out in episode 21. Fabian has an uncle named Ade who is running a local antique shop that he consults about the cylinders, is the one who gives him the book "Unlocking the Eye" that becomes vital in the search and recurs only a few times in the series. Fabian shares a dorm with Mick and while they do not spend much time together during the first season their brief encounters show they are good friends and get along well. He is one of the seven acolytes. In Season 2, he writes a poem for Nina but Joy eventually finds it and believes it is for her. She kisses him; Nina finds out and breaks up with him. It is also revealed that his godfather, Jasper, knows about the Mask of Anubis, which he believes is a myth.

Fabian is portrayed by Brad Kavanagh.

Amber Millington

Amber Millington is a resident of the House of Anubis and Nina's friend. She is very girly, fashionable and a bit air-headed, although she is much smarter than she seems. Everyone thinks she's a dumb blonde, even Victor and the teachers apart from Mr Winkler! She believes girly magazines, as when she thought Mick was ignoring her, she believed a magazine article that said that she should flirt with another guy to make him jealous. She went sort of overboard on it, when she kissed Alfie on stage during a production of Romeo and Juliet. At the beginning of the series she roomed with Mara but is now rooming with Nina. When she starts rooming with Nina, the two become fast friends. She is shown to have a really REALLY big mouth and often goes back on promises, although she's shown to be a loyal, comforting friend when the time allows, as demonstrated when she asks Nina about her parents, and when Nina says they died in a car crash, she says "Oh, that's awful, I'm sorry," or when Sarah had died and when Nina is about to leave for the funeral, Amber gives her some money to buy flowers. She used to be dating Mick, but they broke up after she accidentally forgot about their date once too many times, though she still loves him. It is revealed that Mick still loves her, but they do not match. She used to be friends with Mara but now hates her as she likes Mick. Mara also does not think that she and Mick should be together, as she says "they have nothing at all in common." Nina and Fabian, and later, herself and Patricia are the only ones who go or even know that they go to regular trips to the attic to try to find clues about the supposedly hidden treasure in the house. They also start a club, which Amber names Sibuna or Anubis backwards saying that whatever they do in the attic is kept a secret, and records sounds with her mp3 player that could record sounds, and Nina states, "Amber, you're a genius!". After she found out that Mara cheated on the test for Mick, she started a fight with her, but it got broken up very quickly. Mick breaks up with Amber and says "Were mates, not dates". Though she seems to still have feelings for Mick, as when a numerical chart shows that Mick and Mara would be perfect for each other, she seems upset, and is upset when the two continue to kiss during the school play, even when the curtain went down. She competed in the school rep election against Mara out of jealousy of her and Mick. It seemed Mick bribed Robbie, the guy counting the votes, to rig the election for Mara in exchange for a date with Patricia (and hangout time w/ Mick). Later it is revealed that Mara won "fair and square". She seems to might have gotten over Mick, as she tries to help him get back together with Mara, however she might be just setting him up to lose her again. She also might be developing a crush on Alfie, as she happily agreed to kiss him on the cheek before he went down into the cellar. She also called him beau, which she frequently called Mick when they were together. In House of Betrayal, Amber had asked Mara if she can convince the teachers of an end of term Prom. She gets asked by a mysterious "King Tut," who she mistakenly believes is Fabian and then Jerome but is actually Alfie. She originally said that she would go with Alfie only if she was desperate. However, when she found out that he was "King Tut," and said that she was not disappointed at all. She agreed to attend the prom with him. She became frantic when it looked like he was about to die, and even said that she would be his girlfriend if it would save him. They were seen dancing to a slow song during the prom, looking into each other's eyes. All this shows that she really does like him. The two are possibly a couple. Amber's favorite color is hinted to be pink, because the items in her room, including her pajamas, are either soft or hot pink. She is one of the seven acolytes. She regretted agreeing to go out with Alfie and made a list of 3 things he needs before they can go out. He needs to give her gifts, get on a magazine and get a car. She is allergic to raspberries, as revealed when Alfie made cupcakes for her, only to find out that they contain raspberry flavoring.

Amber is portrayed by Ana Mulvoy Ten.

Patricia Williamson

Patricia Williamson is a resident of the House of Anubis. She was Joy's best friend and used to room with Joy, then Nina, but is currently rooming with Mara. At the beginning of the series she and Nina were enemies as Patricia constantly put her down but are now friends, though she does not completely trust Nina. Patricia liked Jason, since she was so close to him and she was the only student who called him by the first name, 'Jason.' Patricia is obsessed with finding out what happened to Joy. She has different colored fake highlights in her hair. Is called Trixie by Jerome and Alfie. She was the only one who noticed that Joy was erased from the school photo before she disappeared. She also thinks that she is going crazy after a number of weird things happen to her. Patricia was the only one who saw a strange man outside of the window during Drama class and saw him later in the woods, convincing her that he was real and not a ghost, as she originally thought. After she saw the man, she told Mr. Winkler everything that happened with Joy, and he does not appear to be in on the Joy secret. The man turned out to be a private investigator, who Patricia and Nina later see unconscious, being dragged into the back of a van by Victor. As a result, Patricia has joined Nina, Fabian, and Amber in Sibuna, and has accompanied them to the cellar numerous times, joining in on their search for answers. Although Patricia trusted Rufus, after not bringing Joy to him he kidnapped her. However, in House of Rescue, the other members of Sibuna rescue her from Rufus. However, she still has nightmares about him, and agrees to hang out with Alfie to try and make them stop, which shows that she is becoming better friends with him. In House of Venom, she contacts Joy, and gets her to get a new cell phone, so they are now back in contact. Also Patricia gets more information out of Joy. In House of Pests/Betrayal, she helps Nina and Fabian sneak out by covering for them, this shows her and Nina are friends now. When Fabian is trying to ask Nina to the end-of-term prom, he gets nervous, and starts babbling, and accidentally makes it look like he likes Patricia. However, it is clear that she knows he doesn't, and she would not feel the same way, anyway. However, Nina believes it, and this causes things to become weird between the two. Patricia is the one to find out that the Cup of Ankh can only be assembled by the chosen one. She sets up an insurance policy, where she and Joy carried identical bags, with Joy's bag containing the Ankh pieces. She is very tough, strong-headed, and always finds a way out of things, as demonstrated when Rufus kidnaps her and she leaves her ring in the clearing as a sign for Nina and the others to find her. She is one of the seven acolytes.

Patricia is portrayed by Jade Ramsey.

Mick Campbell

Mick Campbell is a resident of the House of Anubis. His father was a doctor although he was more attached to sports than academics. At the beginning of the series he was dating Amber but broke up with her when she could not attend any of their "dates" because of Sibuna. He gained a crush on Mara and kisses her in one episode, however he told Jerome and Alfie that he was not interested, and made it sound like he thought she was boring. This caused her to take on a bad girl personality, and become set on ruining him. He kisses her again during a scene in the school play, but they continue kissing even after the curtain is down. After this they become boyfriend and girlfriend. He thought he would get expelled because Mara took pictures of him and Ms. Robinson training together, cropped and doctored the photos to look like the two were involved with each other, and sent them to Mr. Sweet. He almost did get expelled until Mara came in and confessed, saving Mick. However he breaks up with her for it, saying that what she did was sick. He forgives her after she writes him a letter apparently saying sorry 17 times, but stays just friends. Soon after, he leaves for his sports scholarship tryout. He comes back later, and asks Mara out. She says yes and they become an official couple. He supported Mara all the way during the school election. He even bribed Robbie, the guy counting ballots for school rep with a date with Patricia. Mara eventually won fair and square because Robbie forgot to put the votes in the ballot box, which he left in his book bag. Mara still broke up with him out of anger, but forgave him when he performed his "Apology Cheer" with pom-poms. While wearing a 'Mara I'm Sorry' T-shirt. They made up when they were both doing the dishes, and they started a water fight. He starts taking dance lessons from Amber to prepare to the prom. Near the end of season 1 he(along with Mara and Amber) tried to get Fabian to confess to Nina that he likes her. He and Mara are an on again-off again couple. He went to prom with Mara at the end. Mick is not part of the Sibuna club, one of the only three residents of the House of Anubis that is not, along with Mara and Joy. It appears that he will be leaving the cast as stated by an episode description.

Mick is portrayed by Bobby Lockwood 2011-2012 left the cast and will not come back

Mara Jaffray

Mara Jaffray is a resident of the House of Anubis. Her father, Francis Edward Jaffray, was attached to sports although she was more attached to academics. She is very smart and has a crush Mick although she knows it is never going to happen, as she cheated on a French test for him and tutors him. Mara used to room with Amber but now rooms with Patricia. She used to be friends with Amber but Amber does not like her anymore after she found out she likes Mick. Mara does not think that Amber and Mick should be together, as she says "they have nothing at all in common." She cheated on the French test for Mick, and after she does, he says the teacher may have her back but he does not. It is presumed he does not like her anymore after that. Later in the series Mara helps Mick with his training and then they both share a kiss. Then the next day she overhears Mick telling Jerome and Alfie that he's not interested in her. Afterward, she changes her personality to fit a "mean girl", and is set on ruining Mick for spiting her. It is unknown if this is permanent or temporary, but turns out to be temporary. Later in the series Mick and Mara kiss for a scene in a school play. He asks her to be his girlfriend and she says yes. Later on in the episode it is presumed Mick does not like Mara anymore or is mad at her after she confesses on giving Mr. Sweet the photos of him and Miss Robinson together. Now they are just friends. After Mick leaves to tryout for his sport scholarship, Mara starts spending time with Jerome and she starts to developed a crush on him. However, when Mick comes back, she agrees to go out with him, and they become an official couple. This angers Jerome to no end, although he is not exactly hostile towards her. Jerome also reveals to her that Mick did not get the scholarship, but he kept it from her. She forgives him, when he says that he just did not want her to be ashamed of him. In House of Victory, she wins the school rep election, however, Mick thinks it's because he bribed Robbie to rig the votes. It is later revealed that Robbie did not rig the votes and Mara won fairly, but Mara still breaks up with Mick, telling him that they "bring out the worst in each other". However, she took him back after he wore a t-shirt that said "Mara, I'm Sorry", and did a cheerleading routine. Mara manages to win over the teachers when asking for all the damage done to Anubis House to be fixed. Amber, knowing this, asked Mara if she can convince the teachers of an end of term prom. Mara seemed to be jealous when Mick and Amber when they both were dancing because Mick could not dance and Mara was giving him lessons. She went to prom with Mick at the end. Mara is not a member of the Sibuna club, one of the only three residents of the House of Anubis that is not, along with Mick and Joy.

Mara is portrayed by Tasie Dhanraj

Alfred "Alfie" Lewis

Alfred "Alfie" Lewis is a resident of the House of Anubis. He is roommates with Jerome and often goofs around with him. He is always getting into trouble, and frequently wears some kind of animal mask or head. He has a huge crush on Amber. He and Jerome often tease Patricia for her obsession about finding Joy, such as when Jerome brought Patricia into their room and tried to convince her that they could see where Joy is through his fake crystal ball. After Alfie and Jerome try to con money off 7th and 8th graders, they are put under probation. Seeking entertainment, Jerome gets out the zombie costumes as does Alfie. Alfie left his mask in the cellar, so he goes down to find it. Jerome gets caught by Victor so he leaves Alfie trapped down there. Jerome is worried so he wakes Fabian and then brings almost everyone downstairs. They find Alfie in the cupboard, scared out of his mind. It is believed in the episode he saw the teachers and Victor do some ritual different in all, but still unknown really what scared him. Alfie is brought up to his bed but he is catatonic. He freaks out and when they ask him what happened he hyperventilates and is a loss for breath. Nina hands him a bottle, which is filled with what they think is the life elixir but it's supposedly cleaning fluid, according to Victor. Alfie passes out and was in the hospital. He is shown to believe in aliens, as he found one of the puzzle pieces that Fabian lost and thinks it's an alien artifacts. Patricia manages to get the puzzle piece back from him. He also shares with Patricia his secrets to getting rid of nightmares, and agrees to hang out with her since Jerome always hangs out with Mara now, to help her. In House of Aliens, he is told that there are aliens at the school by Sibuna, so they can get him off their backs. However, when he attacks Mrs. Andrews, thinking that she's an alien, Patricia and Fabian are forced to tell him about the treasure and the quest. He is now a member of Sibuna, and he has a flashback while in the cellar, back to the ritual he saw. He is also noticeably annoying and enjoys sticking his nose in other peoples' business. He passes information on the Sibuna gang to Jerome, after he 'saves' him. He stops however, after he finds out that Jerome is actually working for Rufus. He is shown to be a talented artist, because he drew perfect pictures of the puzzle pieces. After promising the members of Anubis to protect and guard the puzzle pieces, Jerome steals it from Alfie so he can give it to Rufus. He is "King Tut" in the finale episode and returns Amber's dress after Jerome took it and replaced it with a dolls dress. She agrees to go to prom with him. After Rufus drinks the fake elixir from the Cup of Ankh, Alfie almost dies. While this is happening, Amber says that she would even be his girlfriend if it would save him. In the end, they are seen dancing to a slow song at prom, staring into each other's eyes, signifying that Amber does like him, and he still likes her. He is one of the seven acolytes. Currently he is on a mission to complete Amber's 3 tasks to get her to be his girlfriend. He has passed all 3 so now he must go on a trial date with Amber before they are official.

Alfie is portrayed by Alex Sawyer.

Jerome Clarke

Jerome Clarke is a resident of the House of Anubis and Alfie's best friend/roommate. The two are often seen messing around with each other and orchestrating pranks on other students. Jerome often does bad things but infrequently gets caught for them, unlike Alfie, who always gets caught. Sometimes his pranks go to far, such as when he made a love note that Alfie wrote to Amber telling her to meet him into that laundry room seem like it came from Mick, breaking Amber's heart. He and Alfie often tease Patricia for her obsession about finding Joy, such as when he brought Patricia into their room and tried to convince her that they could see where Joy is through Alfie's fake crystal ball. Jerome decides to scare the 7th graders after they make them in trouble by Mr. Winkler, so he and Alfie, also in trouble, decide to put on zombie costumes, but Alfie left his in the cellar, and when Victor catches him, he runs, leaving Alfie in there. He goes with Nina and Fabian to get him, where they find him in a cupboard scared to death. They bring him up to his bed, but is still scared, and later taken to the hospital after loss of breath when Nina gives him the bottle of elixir. Alfie is said to be better soon. That makes Jerome question the Sibuna team about what is going on in the cellar. He is saddened by what happens to Alfie. Though he originally appears to only care about himself, it is shown that he cares deeply about Alfie, such as when Alfie was trapped in the cellar and Jerome risked Victor's wrath to save him. He seems to have developed a deep love for Mara, which seems to not be returned. He shares with her that he's been going to boarding school since he was five-years old, and that he's actually a very deep person. He begins to spend more time with her when Mick leaves for his sports scholarship tryout, and nominates her for school rep. Also, when Amber reveals that on a numerical chart, Mick and Mara would be perfect for each other, he asks if the chart says anything about people who are different, such as him and Mara. He also offered to be her campaign manager for school rep, and did so in a slightly flirty manner. He also did ask her out to lunch, signifying that he likes Mara. He becomes very frustrated when Mara and Mick start dating. He tells Mara that his parents took him to boarding school to get rid of him when he was only five, in results of his trouble-making personality. He says that they left him to rot, and that that was all he did. Certainly Mara says "Your not rotten", and when Mara said "I have a question" he opens his eyes with delight and when Mara said Mick's name he became really sad. He became angered at Mick and Mara's relationship in House of Yesterday, and so he became Amber's campaign manager instead. He overheard Mick, and the guy who counted the votes, Robbie, talking about how Mick bribed him a date with Patricia. Jerome is in love with Mara and he hates Mick, both emotions are very deep. Jerome is working for Rufus, as he is paying him a lot of money. He seems to have even turned on Alfie, as he locked him in the sarcophagus that he was in hiding from Victor. He then pretends to save him, and blackmails him to pass on information on the Sibuna gang. He even tries to steal the Elixir of Life from Fabian's room. He seems to become scared after he finds out how evil Rufus is. After Alfie promised the members of Anubis to protect and guard the puzzle pieces, Jerome steals it from Alfie so he can give it to Rufus. He eventually joins Sibuna in the finale. He is present during the final scene in the cellar. He has a high intelligence and degrees of cunning seeing as he could see that there was something going on with the Sibuna team, talk his way out of nearly anything, and create many pranks that actually work. He is one of the seven acolytes. Towards season two, it is mentioned that he has a younger sister, Poppy, who blackmails him and is friends with Mara. Despite joining in the season one finale , he was not present at the Sibuna reunion party.

Jerome is portrayed by Eugene Simon.

Joy Mercer

Joy Mercer is a former resident of the House of Anubis. The day Nina came to the school, she disappeared suddenly, as she was taken out of class. Joy was best friends with Patricia before she disappeared and lost contact with her and all of her friends. She is described as very dramatic and as Trudy, the housekeeper says, "a walking soap opera." She is obsessed with Robert Pattinson and has a cell phone with foam letters spelling out her name.. Joy's cell phone has her name in foam letters on the back of her phone, a stuffed rabbit name Bunnsybuns, a portrait of her and Patricia on the door of her bedroom, all burned by Victor after she disappeared. She always uses text symbols in emails and always writes her name and a smiley face at the end of every email. She has been erased from the school photo and no one will give out personal information of hers, such as her home phone number. It is very possible she is dead, as Patricia overheard Victor and the Police talking saying that "Joy has been buried, end of story," but Joy comes back in later episodes, alive and trying to run away from Victor and the teachers. After she disappeared, she was erased from the school photo, with only Patricia knowing she's missing from the photo saying that she was standing right next to her. Joy will appear in the next episode, where the teachers chase after her. After the teachers catch up to Joy they refer to her as "the chosen one," where she yells, "I don't want to be the chosen one. You hear me!" It appears she and Patricia have a very strong friendship as Joy escaped Victor's clutches just to see her. Joy is safe. Joy visited for the schools play but the teachers caught her and she had to leave. In one episode, Joy talks to Nina, Patricia, Amber, and Fabian and tells them that Victor and the teachers are the good ones. This happened when Victor called on Nina, Fabian, Patricia and Amber into his office to have a live webcam chat with Joy. Joy and her father tell them she left the school because Rufus Zeno is after something top secret with the government which involves her father. However, we learn at the end of the episode that she had been forced to lie. It seems she has a crush on Fabian, hinted in the webcam chat when Joy calls Fabian "Fabes". According to Joy, she's not coming back. She was born at 7 o'clock pm on the 7th day of the 7th month. She also said that her dad was conned into joining the group by Victor and the teachers. She gains a new cell phone, and is now in contact with Patricia. It is also hinted that she is one of the seven acolytes, during the ceremony to restore the Cup of Ankh to "tip the scales of life". Joy quickly glances at one of the scales and sees her name on a coin opposite Victor's. The teachers think that she is the Chosen One, and that she will be able to bring together the Cup of Ankh. However, the teachers were mistaken and Fabian thinks that Nina is actually the chosen one, since she hears voices (which revealed where the 6th puzzle piece was, among other clues), she hears the house talk, she is the only one who can use the locket's power, and Joy has exactly the same birthday as Nina. (Actually Nina is the chosen one because she has her birthday at the true hour of the day, which was 7 am of the 7th hour of the 7th day of the 7th month.) Nina turns out to be the true Chosen One, not Joy. Joy is one of the seven acolytes. In the second season she gets mad at Nina for stealing Fabian "Fabes" from her. She said to Patricia "first she took my seat. Then she took my room. After that my Fabes. What is next my cat, my mum, my rights?" She finds the poem Fabian wrote for Nina and, believing it to be for her, kisses him. Nina then breaks up with him. She was never shown to join Sibuna and therefore should not be considered a member.Even though she hates Nina for stealing Fabian , she does admit she is pretty.

Joy is portrayed by Klariza Clayton.

Recurring characters

Victor Rodenmaar, Jr.

Victor Rodenmaar, Jr. is a owner of the House of Anubis and the main antagonist of the series. Although he is one of the good guys, he wants to live forever, much like Rufus Zeno. He is very strict and has informed everyone except for the House of Anubis students about Joy's disappearance. He owns a stuffed black bird (Corbierre) that he keeps in his office, which Nina and Fabian find very suspicious because the elderly lady that gave Nina the necklace had warned her about a black bird. Victor is very strict about keeping students out of the attic and/or cellar. He does not permit students wandering in the house after 9:00 and insists on all lights out by 10:00. Victor says "You have five minutes, and then I want to hear a pin drop... " He spoke with the police and said "Joy has been buried, end of story," which means that it is very possible that someone, possibly him, killed Joy. Victor is very strict about students, particularly Patricia, finding out any personal information about Joy, such as her home phone number. In one of the recordings with young Sarah, she says, "I'm more certain than ever that he killed my parents, but I can't prove anything yet. Oh no, he's coming! I must go!" A voice that is unmistakably Victor's then says, "You have 5 minutes, and then I want to hear a pin drop." It appears he cares more for himself as he might possibly be taking lives from others. He is short tempered. He is shown in a photo Nina and Fabian find (in 1925) and looks exactly the same as he presently looks. Nina and Fabian conclude he must be a ghost or be taking an elixir for eternal life. Sarah says when she sees the picture, "No, he is trying to tip the scales of life! You must stop him!" When he finds Nina and Fabian getting a puzzle piece, he takes it, and when alone shouts "No", showing that something is wrong, and they have found something valuable. He knows Rufus Zeno, and it is believed he knows him, and wants to eliminate him. It is unknown that Victor knows Sarah, although after what Sarah says, it might be that he does. He also says that Joy is the chosen one, and that is why she was taken away from the school in the beginning of the series. He never laughs, or seems happy, only keeps a straight face, and sometimes mad. After Joy talks with Nina, Fabian, Patricia, and Amber, she says that Victor is good and that he is protecting her. At the end of that episode, we discover that Victor had forced Joy to lie on his account. It is revealed that he is actually the son of the person in Sarah's recordings. In House of Pursuit, he finds Sarah in the rest home, and discovers that Nina visits her regularly. He is 95 according to the House of Bribes / House of Venom. In House of Stars/House of Harsh he padlocks the door to stop Nina from going up there. He now knows that the kids have the Ankh pieces, after he saw the pictures of them that Alfie drew. He is shown to somewhat care for the students, despite his hateful and antagonistic actions. He is shown to be more of a tragic villain as the series progresses, driven to madness by his thirst for eternal life, and the workings of his cold hearted father. After Rufus beats him to the Cup of Ankh, he becomes completely desolate. After the Chosen Hour passes, and his plan for eternal life failed, he slowly ascended the stairwell to his study, utterly crushed and defeated. He is enemies with Rufus Zeno. But it is shown in the season premiere that he is trying to create a new elixr and learns from a doll in the attic that an old book known as the Book of Isis contains the recipe, but when he and Mr. Sweet go to retrieve it, they find the book has already been taken. Instead of discouraging him, this makes him more desperate for The Book of Isis, thristing after it just as he had with the Cup of Anhk.In season 2 she trys to steal fabian from nina.

Senkhara

Senkhara is a spirit imprisoned for centuries in the Cup of Ankh who was freed unintentionally by Nina. She wants the Mask of Anubis for unknown reasons. Her personality and history are both shrouded in mystery. She commands Nina and the rest of Sibuna to find the Mask, rewarding them with the promise of "tears of gold." Senkhara also warns that, should they fail her, she will claim their lives as payment. She seems to be a budding antagonist, and may take the place of secondary antagonist.

Trudy Rehman

Trudy Rehman is the housekeeper of the House of Anubis. She has told Amber that everything would be okay because Amber saw her cat "Mr. Black Toes" dead in the cellar. She makes the children meals everyday. Everything's good. Almost. Trudy seems to be not on the secret, however Victor's warning about not believing anything the kids say makes it that Trudy is most likely not going to help the kids, due to the first incident. She shows quite a bit of emotion, and helps out the students as much as she can, even small problems. She seems to have a crush on Fabian's Uncle Ade. Trudy is a nice person, and she stands up for the students when she needs to.in season 2 of the show she is going to have a different job and not work at anubis house.

People call him Sweety sweet and Ol Sweety (mostly Trudy) .

Sergeant Roebuck

Sergeant Roebuck is one of the many characters in the secret of Joy. He was in the House of Anubis talking with Victor when Victor told him "Joy has been buried, end of story." He called Patricia saying that he called Joy's parents and that she was safe and living at home, which is obviously a lie. He also faked an email to Patricia from Joy saying that she had to leave the school because her dad had to take her out quickly. While he was an antagonist in the first season, he has not been seen since, due to Victor disbanding the society.

She met Nina on the street, saying that the Anubis House was her house. Nina took her to her home, living with a middle-aged woman, saying that Sarah's name was Emily, though Sarah gets very upset when Nina calls her Emily. She also knows Nina's name before Nina told her it, and claims that Nina is the only one who can find the House of Anubis treasure. Sarah will not let anyone but Nina see the necklace, as when Fabian tried to get a peek at it, she got very upset and started yelling at Nina to hide it. She appeared in Nina's nightmare, and she was saying "Beware the black bird" over and over while Nina was screaming. When she was young her parents were murdered by as she says a man who she sometimes sees in the mirror, but knows it's fake. She also left a recording about what happened before she moved, and left a note with numbers in tallies and a note that said "HELP ME -Sarah Frobisher-Smythe." In one recording, Nina, Fabian and Amber find out that Victor is the killer, as young Sarah says, "I'm more certain than ever that he killed my parents, but I can't prove anything yet. Oh no, he's coming! I must go!" and then a voice that is unmistakably Victor's, as it says "You have minutes and I want to hear a pin drop," as he always says. She is shocked when she sees the picture of Victor (it really was his dad) in a picture from 1925, and starts explaining how he will tip the scales of life, and how Nina must stop him. Still unknown how much she knows about Victor, as she dazes off after being shocked. Sarah says she knew Rufus as childhood friends, and of course, Rufus is another enemy of all the teachers except Trudy, and including the bunch now is Jason Winkler, the new teacher in on Victor's plans. She told Nina that the house knew the secret and was "the voice". Nina then went to the attic and discovered a newspaper article from the 1960s. In the picture were Sarah, Rufus, and Victor at the Anubis house during its creation as a boarding school. Rufus and Victor have not aged at all, but Sarah looked like she was in her 30s or 40s, and has aged normally since. In House of Pursuit, Victor finds her in the rest home. In the House of Yesterday, Sarah is taken into Anubis house and has flashbacks about her and Victor's past. Soon after, Sarah unfortunately passes away. She leaves Nina some of her possessions, one of which was a certificate that stated that Gustav and Isabel Zeno (Rufus's parents) were made her guardians after her parents' murder by Victor (possibly his dad), which included a hospital birth record of their son, Rufus, who is also a main antagonist, which says he was born in 1915, which proves he took the elixir of life. Also in the box was an Egyptian star map, with showed Sibuna when the chosen hour was. After Nina assembles the cup and is going to head back to the Prom with Fabian, she hears Sarah's voice coming from the cellar. When she heads down there alone, she sees Sarah and Sarah's parents who are finally at peace. Nina goes to Sarah's room and finds Victor and Rufus fighting about a mysterious elixir of life that Rufus wants from Victor that he needs to drink from the Cup of Ankh. But Victor refuses to give it to him and storms out of the room. Sarah did not like Rufus or Victor, but forgave Victor for his crimes toward her shortly before her death. However, she is interrupted by Mick as he is talking to her. She seems to be always knowing if something is wrong, and can almost sense it. She is old, but clever too. She attends rituals in the cellar, just like the one Alfie witnesses which made him very scared. She was tackled by Alfie during class when she was reading a poem about a snake and Alfie thought that she was an alien. She is shown to care about the students, as she went against Victor's orders to rescue Patricia from Rufus, and started freaking out when he went back on their deal.
