Seong Hon (korean:성혼, 1535 – 1598) was one of the Korean Confucian scholars, politicians, educators of the Joseon Dynasty, the other being his friends Yi I(Yulgok) and older contemporary, Yi Hwang (Toegye)[1], leader of west man party(서인, 西人) of Joseon Dynastys.
Seong Hon is often referred to by his Chinese style name was Howon, pen name Woogae ("Bull Valley") and Mookam("Black Stone"). He is not only known as a scholar but also as a revered politician and reformer.[2] hi was bureaucracy reached of Fourth State Councillor (jwachanseong 좌찬성)[3].
