The Penang State Mosque or Masjid Negeri Pulau Pinang is a state mosque located in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. Construction of the mosque was completed in 1980.[1]

The mosque was designed by Brazilian architect, Oscar Niemeyer, who also designed the Cathedral of Brasília in Brazil. Its architecture is an amalgamation of Western Modernist and local Malay.
