You wouldn't happen to have any connection to User:Billy_Hathorn, woudl you? Novaseminary (talk) 04:49, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, this is Billy Hathorn's computer. I cannot make new articles, but I have been able for a week to edit existing ones that I created. 68.203.251.2 (talk) 22:48, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that's a problem. That account has been blocked because you've made a lot of problematic edits with it that required cleanup. This is a serious issue and as far as I can tell, you've never addressed or commented on it. In fact, the edits you made with the HutchinsonKS account showed that you are still making the same mistakes. Do you have a comment on it? Or do I now need to block this IP range and add all edits made to the cleanup effort?

I don't know what edits are problematic? I assumed that since my computer starting allowing me edit again that I could do so even though I could not add new articles. 68.203.251.2 (talk) 23:23, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You do remember the discussion at User talk:Billy Hathorn/Archive 19#September 2011: Block? Amalthea 23:28, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, but my articles have no errors that I have founde at this point and have been set aside in a page for review. So I thought that I could correct those articles, found mostly typing errors and added some new information and boxes on a number of them. 68.203.251.2 (talk) 23:59, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It's not quite correct that no explicit errors have been identified. Your article "Walter L. Buenger" has been reviewed since your block, and as it appears half the material had to be removed. Some more recent ones were deleted outright.
I would be very happy if you wanted to correct those problems, but I need to make sure we agree on what the problem is first.
What you should do is return to your User:Billy Hathorn account and discuss this there. I see now that you requested an unblock two months ago. In that request, you repeated the issues that were brought up, but what you should have done is convince the reviewing admin that you understand why you were blocked and why it won't be a problem again in the future.
Please don't continue to evade your block. While you may technically be able to do so, it is in violation of community policy, and down that road things usually get rather unpleasant for everyone involved. I'm sure this can be worked out, but only through discussion.

Thanks, Amalthea, I will try to get reinstated. The Buenger article was cut in half because someone objected to the information about the death of his young daughter from a rare disease. That material, however, got much coverage in the local paper. The way I understand it is that I had bios on two Texas state representatives, Brian Hughes and Larry Phillips, who accused each other of untruthfulness regarding 2011 redistricting. I had the material sourced, but some objected because some of the sources are blogs. I never understood how this led to being banned.
