PQ Monthly is a free monthly LGBTQ magazine and online publication for Oregon and southwest Washington, published in Portland. The first issue was released February 16, 2012.[1][2]

The owner and publisher, Melanie Davis, announced plans to start publishing PQ Monthly soon after Just Out, Portland's semimonthly LGBTQ newspaper in print since 1983,[3] announced it was out of business in December 2011.[4]
