What happens when a Wikipedian dies? He or she just doesn't show up to edit anymore. Does anybody notice? Does anybody really even care? To all those Wikipedians who may have died and been forgotten here, Thank you for your contributions and Rest in Peace.
Hey, Jivesh. What happened to Anerood Jugnauth? I've been sick for a while now, (I'm better now, though) and I missed what happened. You should have told the people at WP:ITN/C, but it's too late now. Anyway, is Monique Ohsan Bellepeau the first female president? And will there still be elections in 2013? Sorry for asking you so many questions but you are my go-to Mauritian. LOL :) -- BCS (t·c·!) 15:33, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for replying here itself. Anerood Jugnauth resigned as he wants to get back into politics with his son Praving Jugnauth. They are from the MSM party. Now they will (re-)merge (alliance) with the MMM party (Paul Remon Brenger). Nevertheless, general elections will take place ion 2015. And yes, Monique Ohsan Bellepeau is the first female president in Mauritius. The post of the vice-president was offered to Mireille Martin (Ministry of Women and Children Rights) but she refused. To give weight to the party of his son. Aneerood Jugnauth was the prime minister from 1982 to 1993 and the amount of infrastructural development and international trade that took place during his mandate is unbelievable phenomenal. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 06:05, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
