Mayamohini (Malayalam: മായാമോഹിനി) is a 2012 Malayalam film directed by Jose Thomas and written by Udayakrishna-Siby K. Thomas, starring Dileep, Lakshmi Rai, Biju Menon and Mythili in the lead roles.[2][3][4]
Plot
Dileep's character, due to certain unavoidable circumstances dresses up as Mayamohini, a Mumbai girl. He continues to be Maya, with whom Biju Menon falls in love with without understanding her real identity.

Critical Reception
The film has opened to positive to mixed reviews.
- Metro Matinee rated the film as Entertaining and said "Mayamohini certainly follows the same old formula, but even then it is a fairly enjoyable ride."[6]
- Theater Balcony rated the film
and said "A movie only to laugh, without thinking much about story and other stuffs, and definitely this will end up as one of the good comedy movie in the recent times. And 3 cheers to an actor, who gives his best shot for making a female role, an outstanding one!!".[7] - Sify rated the film as a Comedy Caper and said "With a briskly paced first half and a more serious second half, Mayamohini still turn out to be a nice option, for the summer holidays."[8]
Box Office
Mayamohini had an excellent opening at the box office, grossing ₹1.80 crore (US$220,000) in it's first weekend.[9] The movie was declared a blockbuster at the box office, grossing ₹2.36 crore (US$280,000) in it's first week.[10]
