Ohio House of Representatives

Although Landis was initially tagged to run against incumbent Allan Sayre, Sayre exited the race after the primary, giving Landis an edge for the general election.[1] Democrats soon after appointed attorney Joshua O'Farrell to Sayre's seat, and ran him as the nominee for the general election.[2] In the general election, Landis bested the incumbent by about 1,000 votes, with 51.04% of the electorate.[3]

Landis was sworn into his first term on January 3, 2011, and is a member of the committees on Agriculture and Natural Resources, Economic and Small Business Development, Public Utilities, and Veterans Affairs (as vice chair).
