Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

What can I do now?

You are still welcome to write about something other than your company, organization, or clients. If you do intend to make useful contributions on some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.

I'm a fan of BarbraStreisand, but my account has been blocked because my username contained the word barbra. I updated some photographs on her page, and now im blocked. Can someone unlock me?

you agree to not WP:SPAM Wikipedia by including any links to your site(s)
understand that WP:COPYRIGHT is serious; especially with respect to images
will only add information that is referenced to reliable, third party sources
understand the biographies of living people require very careful editing and sourcing
recognize that this is an encyclopedia, not a fan site
