Comment about Kleine Levin Syndrom: Could some of them be Borreliosis? There is one story about this in Danish: www.helbredt.dk/003_sygdomsforlobet.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.50.35.4 (talk) 07:20, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Copyright violation
Almost all of the text in the current (Feb, 2010) introduction is a direct cut and paste from http://www.klsfoundation.org/kleine/levin/info/what_is_kleine_levin_syndrome , a copyrighted source. I don't have time to fix this now, but I did want to call people's attention to the problem. 74.61.63.66 (talk) 19:36, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
So,
A bizarre condition wherein boys aged 15-19 oversleep, overeat, and oversex, accompanied by irritability and spaciness that tends to resolve in the 20's. Um... Ocaasi (talk) 14:04, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
(just ignore that if you have any real experience with what's probably a very crappy thing)Ocaasi (talk) 14:04, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
That's a very narrow-minded view upon a condition which has essentially written off the past 7 years of my life. Please choose your words more carefully in future (Wikipedia:No_personal_attacks) 86.3.52.222 (talk) 22:21, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
It's tempting to tell Ocassi to go fuck him/herself, but I shan't.
Any psychiatric research?
Does DSM-IV say anything about it? Since there is no known cause, here is no basis for affirming that it is a neurological rather than a psychiatric disorder. I am not arguing it is psychiatric, I am just asking if anyone know if anyone HAS suggested this?Slrubenstein | Talk 23:04, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
- That`s an important question I am thankful for. 91.61.205.238 (talk) 19:46, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
"He also shared half his HLA with his affected children"
I removed this sentence since as far as I can tell this sentence is completely meaningless. Classical genetics will tell you that all his children will inherit half his genes and hence half his (HLA) antigens. This does not give any helpful information as to the inheritance of the trait.
If anyone changes this back please leave a comment as to why. Thanks. 86.131.98.181 (talk) 00:04, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
