Rollback

(add requestview requests)

This is a request for rollback privilege to be from my account. I don't use it and I want to avoid the risk of accidentally doing it on my smartphone. TS 15:48, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done Rollback has been removed from your account. I note that you were one of the first people to have received the userright when it came out, though! :) Acalamari 15:53, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
With experience of reading thoroughly all of the policies and removing/reverting vandalism and can distinguish between vandalism and good-faith edits and being a regular,

I am requesting for a rollback feature. TruPepitoM (talk) 08:47, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(Non-administrator comment) You only have 100 edits, and I can see only 1 edit to revert vandalism. Rollback is only given to users who have experience reverting vandalism. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 23:08, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I'm happy to see you've read the relevant policies, but I see minimal evidence of that in your contributions thus far. I'd suggest checking out Twinkle, if you haven't already, and make 50 or so vandalism reverts in accordance with the relevant policies and you should be granted rollback without question. I have 1000+ edits and 20+ articles on Wikipedia. But recently, two of my articles faced vandalism and each time I had to rewrite them over again. So, I request rollback permission so that I can revert those edits with one click. I assure you that I will use this feature to the best of my capabilities and will strictly adhere to Wikipedia policies. Additionally, I would like to mention that I myself violated copyright policies two times in the beginning but since then I have strictly followed them and has helped remove these problems from a few other articles. Thanks. Vishal14K (Talk) Vishal14K 19:34, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • (Non-administrator comment) Although you have been on Wikipedia for a while and have over 1,000 edits, you don't seem to have any experience reverting vandalism. Rollback is only given to users who have experience reverting vandalism. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 23:08, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Vishal, you rarely use edit summaries when contributing. In my view, this does not convey a good understanding and appreciation of the importance of communicating the basis for your edits to other editors. Rollback allows one-click reversion with no explanatory edit summary, which I regret I cannot trust you to use appropriately if you do not even consistently explain your 'regular' edits.  Not done at this time, but please apply again later if you resolve this concern and continue to require the permission. • Ok, this will serve as a lesson and I will make sure that I rise up to the standards when applying next time. And from now onwards, I will give full details in edit summaries. Thanks. Vishal14K (Talk) Vishal14K 12:23, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have about 150+ warns/reverts, I want to real rollback tools so I can rollback more vandals. I also want to upgrade to a new anti-vandal tool that will be more better for user that have rollback. Thanks. MrSkill (talk) 21:02, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - While your contributions seem solid, you have only been editing here for about 13 days. Please come back when you have at least a months worth of edits under your belt. Best, Tiptoety talk 01:18, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have about 1,700 edits and a while back did quite a bit reverting vandalism. I had to stop because of a new PC at work that doesn't allow me to run Twinkle. Having Rollback rights will allow me to start reverting vandalism again. Thanks  TUXLIE  21:50, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Most of your edits appear to be to your userpage and some subpages. Will you please provide me with some diffs of anti-vandalism work? Thanks, Tiptoety talk 01:20, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I see quite a lot of anti vandalism work from his account. See here. Reverts are quite good. There is no objection to this user being granted the rollback rights. Dipankan (Have a chat?) 06:44, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I enjoy keeping an eye out for potential vandals who try to ruin this website's contents, and I respectfully request that I can obtain this tool to help make my vandal-spotting work easier. Thank you very much. And Adoil Descended (talk) 00:27, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
