Dadagiri Unlimited is a quiz show broadcasted in Zee Bangla, hosted by former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly. Seasons 1 & 2 were aired on the time slot of Thurs-Sat 9.30-11pm. The contestants are chosen by a selection round and everyone represents their respective district of West Bengal. It first premiered in 2009 and 2010 had a second season. In 2009, Kolkata won the finale; and in season 2, North 24 Parganas bagged the win. Dadagiri season 3 was organized in 2012 and was hosted by Mithun Chakraborty, a well-known actor in West Bengal.[1]. Bardhaman bagged the trophy of session 3.[2]

Overview

The rounds are:

  1. Selection Round

The contestants from 19 districts of West Bengal with the final contestant being from outside West Bengal compete with a question. The fastest 6 contestants with the right answers get to play the main game. Here, five options are given where four are diveded into two groups of 2 options. The groups are named off by side. The Left over option would be common with only one group. They have to answer that groups name by pressing buttons. The 6 persons who answers faster than all but correctly goes to next round. The other 14 contestant can play by helping the 6 players in Powerplay Round and Cover Drive Round.
