Star Wars 1313[2] is an upcoming third-person action-adventure video game developed and to be published by LucasArts. The game will put the player in the role of a bounty hunter navigating the planet Coruscant's subterranean level 1313 underworld as they try to uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy.[3] The game will take a more mature, gritty direction compared to past Star Wars video games and emphasizes fast-paced, gadget and weapon based combat using tools exclusive to bounty hunters rather than force and lightsaber based combat.[4][5][6]
Development
While being developed in-house by LucasArts, the game is undergoing an integrated development approach that involves Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm Animation and Skywalker Sound.[2] The game's title was trademarked in May 2012,[7] and the game was announced later that month by LucasArts. The game was officially revealed at E3 2012 the following month. Spike TV broadcasted a sneak peak on June 4th showing exclusive gameplay footage.
