Hello i was just wondering when you ar e going to submit an RFA because you would be a good administrator--Calu2000 (talk) 17:36, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the compliment! Either in September or January, I'll let you know. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 17:49, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback (you asked)

1. Get some real content creation done. Even if you just do it "for a rotation", it will make you a more thoughtful admin. Leaders who have never done the real work are a turnoff to content contributors. It will deepen you. Serious.

2. Don't do "recent changes" vandalism reversion. The problem with that whole concept is you end up reverting edits in articles you don't know much about (and making boners...they all do). Instead develop articles and areas of interst and just revert via your watch list. This sort of fits in hand and hand with (1).

First of all, thanks for the feedback, but when did I request it? It doesn't matter whether I know something about it or not. I can still identify it as vandalism. It doesn't matter how knowledgeable I am about the subject. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 23:52, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Any feedback on how I am doing would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!" From your front page. No more talkbacks, please. I made the comment...you can take it or leave it. Good luck!

Things to avoid

Leaving a warning for a user that hasn't edited for six hours should be avoided. Our aim is the cessation of disruption; if the user has stopped then no purpose is served by leaving a warning. Additionally, this particular user had already been brought to the attention of administrators so the warning was superfluous. I'm not saying you did anything wrong; only there are more important tasks on which to spend your valuable time. Just some things to ponder. Regards Tiderolls 22:55, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, but I asked a user who reported someone at AIV for trolling why he hadn't issued that user a level 4 warning yet. I decided to let the report go smoother to add the warning. Best, Electriccatfish2 (talk) 23:50, 24 June 2012 (UTC).[reply]
Yeah, that's my point. Warning first, report second...not the other way 'round. Tiderolls 23:54, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I just wanted to strengthen the report so that an admin wouldn't close it off because he never got a level 4. Thank you! Electriccatfish2 (talk) 23:55, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, the report is still there. I don't think he was actually trolling, and I've only come across a troll once here in over a year here. Electriccatfish2 (talk) 23:57, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
