Furca/Becter

Hi, do you happen to have some info on the Furca (formerly Becter) village? According to this site it lay very close to Petroșani, Deleni commune, so it might have been officially merged with Petroșani. Thanks and regards, Mentatus (talk) 13:12, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, I couldn't find more. It was actually midway between Petrosani and Curcani (see this map from the 20s, row V, column B), so I think it was just abandoned. The current (tentative) administrative limit passes slightly East of its location, so its territory was probably administratively merged with Petrosani.Anonimu (talk) 20:14, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
