The following is a list of episodes of the Disney Channel original series, Austin & Ally. Created by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, the show follows the partnership between polar opposites — Austin, an extroverted musician/singer, and Ally, a brilliant yet shy songwriter and their two best friends, Trish and Dez. Austin is played by Ross Lynch, Ally is played by Laura Marano, Dez is played by Calum Worthy, and Trish is played by Raini Rodriguez. Each episode's name has an ampersand in the middle of it and the words are alliterated.

Ally Dawson, a shy songwriter, works at Sonic Boom, a music store owned by her parents, located at the Mall of Miami. Austin Moon, an aspiring singer, interrupts Ally while she's in her practice room, singing a rough cut of "Double Take". Unbeknownst to Ally, Austin and his best friend Dez "borrow" the song, create a video and post it on the Internet, after which it and Austin become a local sensation. After performing the song on "The Helen Show", Helen suggests that Austin return and perform another original song. Austin isn't good at songwriting, and the only solution he can think of is to plead Ally to write another song for him. Ally initially denies in anger, but later agrees to help him. The two bond while working on their next song, "Break Down The Walls", and Austin asks Ally to be there when he performs it. However, when the pianist gets sick, Ally has to fill in. This was all part of Austin's plan to help Ally overcome her stage fright, but it only ends in disaster. However, Austin and Ally become partners, along with Dez as video director, and Ally's best friend Trish as Austin's manager.

After a month since "Breaking Down The Walls", Austin becomes worried that his career will end and people will forget who he is. Under pressure, Ally scribbles down song lyrics to Austin's new song in illegible handwriting, prompting Dez and Trish to start gathering random props for the music video, which they think correspond to her lyrics. For example, Ally writes what Dez could not understand, a word he thought it was either camel or caramel. After the random collection of musical items, including a kangaroo and a ultimate fighter's jacket, arrive, the four quickly work together to resolve the mix-up.

Guest stars: Andy Milder as Lester, Andy Goldenberg as Martin, Hollywood Yates as Facepuncher, Emily Skinner as Mad Dog

Ally loses her songbook, which is also her diary, so she and Trish desperately look for it, unaware that Austin and Dez have already found and read it, discovering that Ally has a secret crush. When Austin is convinced it’s him, he tries to find a way to make Ally stop crushing on him and let her know they’re just friends, embarrassing himself in the process. Ally and Trish find out Austin and Dez have read the diary and plan an elaborate scheme for revenge to teach Austin a lesson. Ally reveals that her crush is actually a boy named Dallas, who works at the cell phone accessory cart near Sonic Boom, and the misunderstanding between her and Austin is cleared.

Ally writes a new song that she thinks is awesome, as it is supposed to be about Austin. However, Austin hates the song, because it's not him at all. The two decide they need to get to know each other better in order for Ally to write songs that will relate to Austin, so they each do activities that the other finds fun. Ally takes Austin to her Cloud-Watching Club, which he finds boring. Austin then takes Ally to a horror-movie convention, which she finds boring. Meanwhile, Dez and Trish, who have never gotten along, surprisingly discover they have things in common. After the horror-festival ends in a fiasco (involving Pickles the goose, who helps Ally with her writer's block), Austin and Ally finally decide that though they are different from each other, that makes them better partners.

When embarrassing footage of Austin starts showing up on a blog called Miami H8er Girl, the group becomes concerned on how it is going to affect Austin's career. After the footage causes Austin to lose a gig, the gang becomes determined to find the anonymous culprit behind it all. When the blogger, Tilly, is caught, she reveals that she doesn't hate Austin, but in fact hates Ally due to an incident in kindergarten. She challenges Ally to perform in front of the mall to save Austin's career; Ally is unable to due to her stage fright. Austin comes to her rescue and the two are able to beat Tilly at her own game. During the whole episode, Dez and Trish both get a job at a fish-fry restaurant and start frying up everything but fish, causing them to get fired (just as they planned).

Everyone is excited when Austin is invited to perform at the Miami Internet Music Awards; unfortunately, Austin is only allowed to bring one guest. Everyone's friendship is tested as Ally, Trish and Dez all compete to win the coveted guest ticket. After Austin accidentally says yes to each person, they all get upset with him, leaving Austin wondering if he should just go alone (though he does bring Nelson with him). On the night of the awards, the three group members realize they have been selfish and show up in disguise to support Austin during his performance (though the show ends rather disastrously).

Trish is having a quinceañera, a Mexican party that celebrates a 15-year-old girl's coming of age. At the party is a big-time club owner, and Austin tries to impress him. Also at the party is Dallas, Ally's crush. Ally decides to ask him to dance, but after he refuses, Austin has to decide between helping Ally or impressing the club owner. Austin chooses Ally and dances with her, making her happy. Dez wrecks Trish's presents when he literally swings in on a jungle vine, and Austin finds out the club owner is a country club owner (not a nightclub owner, as he'd initially thought). Dallas comes back and tells Ally he didn't dance with her because he can't dance. Ally tells him she can't dance either, so they dance badly together.

The contest takes place at the beach where Ally wants to get over her bad memories, so she and Austin can work out some lyrics. But when Ally's book gets covered in gum, Trish (who got a job at an ice cream shop) puts the book into her cart to freeze the gum so they can scrape it off. But they forget the book in the ice cream cart, so they have to try and break into shop to get it back. While in the shop they get locked in the freezer, so Austin calls Dez to save them but with the bad reception, Dez mistakes the phrase "Come to the ice cream shop, and save us" for the phrase "Come to the ice cream shop and shave Gus." But when her picture makes people stop eating at Ms. Suzy's Soups, Ally feels guilty and tries to help. Mostly, through her helping, she wants Ms. Suzy to give her a gold star, like she always gives everyone else. Ally goes a bit overboard with her plans and almost ruins everything. Dez saves the day by editing Ally's commercial to make it a hit. Finally, Ms. Suzy explained she only gave gold stars to people that needed motivation and that Ally never needed one; but, to make her feel better, Ally gets a gold star from Ms. Suzy. Meanwhile, Dez thinks that to be an awesome director he has to anger the rest of the cast. So he doesn't use any of Ally's props, aggravates Trish when she tries to give herself more lines, and fills the set with umbrellas for Austin because he already knew that Austin was afraid of them, stating that he is Austin's best friend and knows all his secrets.
