Based on a T.R.U. Story is the upcoming debut studio album by American rapper 2 Chainz. It is scheduled to be released on August 14, 2012, under Def Jam Recordings.[1]
Recording and production
Confirmed guests so far include Kanye West, Drake, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Big K.R.I.T., Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Soulja Boy, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj. While production is handled by Mike Will, Drumma Boy, Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E., Lex Luger, Lil' Lody, Lil C, and Kanye West.
Release and promotion
2 Chainz announced on March 24, that the album is due out on August 14, 2012. The lead single, "No Lie" premiered on May 1, and was released to iTunes on May 8, 2012. The second single "Birthday Song" featuring Kanye West, is due for release on July 24, 2012.
