Son of Sardaar, also known by the abbreviated form SOS, is an upcoming Bollywood romance drama film directed by Ashwni Dhir a remake Telugu movie Maryada Ramanna directed by S. S. Rajamouli, which in itself is a remake of the 1923 American silent movie Our Hospitality starring Buster Keaton and Natalie Talmadge. The film features Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.[1] Longtime associate and Ace cinematographer Aseem Bajaj is handling the camera once again for Dhir. The film is scheduled for release on 13 November 2012; hence competing against Yash Chopra's Untitled Project.[2] Recently Himesh Reshammiya was roped in to compose the music along with the famous lyricist Sameer Anjaan.[3]

Earler, reports suggested that actress Sonam Kapoor was chosen as the female lead of the film, although she dropped out and was later replaced by actress Sonakshi Sinha.The trailer is out, Ajay Devgn's SON OF SARDAAR trailer gets roaring response online.The trailer has garnered over 14 lakh hits in a period of 5 days!
