Iqbal Lone : Born on 27 March 1979 Bandipora,Jammu and Kashmir India, Married to Yasmen Tahir: sibling: Talal Fathi Mohammad Lone. Studied at Srinagar Kashmir University.Started working for humaiterian, developmental and rights based programs/ organisations from the year 2001.Handled grants from EC, ECHO, Save the Children, BHC, IPAP & IKEA Social initiatives.Coordinated on different programs with Save the children, Muslim Aid UK, Manford, RGF, SDTT, Charkha, Childline India, Kashmir Corps USA , German Embassy social initiative etc.worked with Nazakat,Help Foundation,KFORD etc.Areas of Specialty include: Child Rights & Protection issues, Project Management, Livelihood and Economic Security, Youth & Leadership.Proven ability to set-up projects and start field operations in emergency situations.Working as independent Consultant since June 2011 with special focus on project Monitoring & Evaluation, Child Protection (Juvenile Justice, Community based protection, system approach to protection, gender biased sex selection and institutional care), Team Building(FIRO‐B,MBTI sessions, Negotiation sessions, Organizational behavior and team work sessions),Social protection, Food Security and Livelihood.Participated in UN mandated University Peace Costa Rica program in the year 2008 at Philippines, Fellowship at Mumbai University {International P.G Human rights and Health).Accreditations/ publications include: ROLE OF INGOs AND HUMAN RIGHTS SITUATION IN KASHMIR under the supervision of Dr Sheikh Showkat Deptt.
