it is not an anti war movie, it is a movie that takes place under WW II, it is based on a true story and it is about the people that was under the war, there is nothing in it that paint war as a bad thing 88.91.185.59 (talk) 21:35, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I definitely wouldn't call this an "anti-war" film... it's a story of survival and human compassion with war themes. It is based on a true story but many of the details have been altered and exaggerated to emphasize both the survival and compassion themes. I believe the article should be updated to remove the "anti-war" description.Troll-Life (talk) 08:29, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
