Club Champagnat was founded in 1914 by the Marist Brothers in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The club appeared for the first time in 1954 in a tournament sponsored by the Argentina national rugby union team, fielding two successful teams of 12-13 year old players.
Currently, the club supports several rugby, polo, soccer and hockey teams.
