Polyspace

Really doesn't belong on this page. It is a static analysis tool and should be moved to that article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.34.100.161 (talk) 04:38, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect

Shouldn't this page just redirect to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Performance_analysis ? Or the pages somehow be intertwined? It seems to me the dynamic program analysis article could be replaced completely with the Performance analysis article above. The article should probably be renamed from Performance Analysis to Dynamic binary analysis (that would make more sense to me)

I oppose this merge. Profiling is a sufficiently well-know type of analysis to qualify for a separate article per WP:GNG. Pcap ping 17:20, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose Dynamic analysis goes beyond performance analysis. It's a unique topic. AliveFreeHappy (talk) 16:33, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

List criteria

As on other articles, such as List of tools for static code analysis, products being included should be notable, as evidenced by having their own wiki article. Accordingly I will be cleaning up the list for those that don't meet these criteria. AliveFreeHappy (talk) 21:16, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Need to rewrite

The opening paragraph should just define the term. The Ariane example does not belong there (it isn't really related to this article more than any other software bug; moreover dynamic analysis is not just testing for bugs). Neither do recommendations on how to instrument. 85.64.127.135 (talk) 18:55, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
