Weno (formerly Moen) is an island municipality of Chuuk State of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). It is located in the Chuuk Lagoon and its urban area in the NW (villages of Iras, Nepukos, Mwan) serves as the main center of commerce and is also the state capital. It is the second most populous island of the FSM with a population of 13,856 at the 2010 Census.[1]

Transportation

Weno has the most advanced road system in the state, and has the only airport in the state, Chuuk International Airport.
