Sansevieria stuckyi is a common, easily cultured succulent member of the Asparagaceae family subfamily Nolinaceae native to equatorial Africa.
Description
S. stuckyi can form clustering series of short, distichous stems each bearing from one to several leaves, along the trailing rhizomes of the plant. Leaves are circular in cross-section, leathery, fleshy, dark and decorated with pale marbling. plants grow to a length of 1-2 feet depending on light and moisture available. inflorescences occur at Spring or Autumn, bearing fragrant, yellow-white flowers.
Cultivation
Extremely easy to grow, S. stuckyi can tolerate shade, heat and dry conditions and grows well in almost any collection. Will thrive on any soil, under any light intensity and with any amount of water. Can be wintered in a warm or cool environment with extremely rare watering.
