North China (Simplified Chinese: 华北, Traditional Chinese: 華北; pinyin: Huábei) is a region of the People's Republic of China defined by governmental bureaus that includes the municipalities of Beijing and Tianjin; the provinces of Hebei, Shanxi; and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The heartland of North China is the North China Plain.
