The Wheeler School is a coed independent day school located on the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island, United States. The school serves students from the nursery level through twelfth-grade. Wheeler was founded in 1889 by Mary Colman Wheeler, an American Impressionist artist and educator born in Concord, Massachusetts.

The school today has approximately 810 students with 200 faculty and staff. In addition to its main campus in Providence, the School has a 120-acre Farm facility for athletics, its Sixth Grade Farm Program, summer camp, ropes course, sports programs and environmental research.

Recently, it released a plan to update the school calling for additions to its Performing Arts and administration buildings. It will be completed in 2015.

Wheeler maintains a rivalry with Moses Brown School, another nearby private school on the East Side of Providence.
