Bouley is a contemporary French restaurant located at 163 Duane Street (between Greenwich Street and Hudson Street), in Tribeca in Manhattan, in New York City.[2][3] The owner and chef is high-profile four-star chef David Bouley.[1][4] The restaurant ranked 60th in the Elite Traveler World's Top Restaurants Guide 2012 [5].
It opened at its current location in October 2008.[6] Jackets are required for men, at both lunch and dinner[1]
Menu
The menu is modern French, and includes dishes such as sweet corn flan with Dungeness crab and black truffle broth, wild salmon, and organic duckling.[6]
Restaurant
The classically decorated, romantic, candle-lit restaurant with vaulted ceilings brushed with gold leaf, an ancient French fireplace, and Impressionist paintings is comfortable and casual.[6][7][8][9][10][11] A circular stone staircase leads to a cellar for private parties.[6]
Reviews
In 2013, Zagats gave it a food rating of 28, and ranked it the best of 111 restaurants in Tribeca, and the 3rd-best restaurant in New York City.[2][12]
