Moving image in Megson (band)

Hi, any reason why you moved your image of Debbie back to the left hand side on the page Megson (band)? Text and section breaks should really not be broken like that which is why I moved it to the right in the first place - the article is far more readable that way. I've moved it back for now but so please explain your reasoning before you do it again. --Mattrition (talk) 13:24, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please read wp:whitespace - cheers.--Egghead06 (talk) 14:02, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, thanks for your explanation. I read the page on whitespace but I can't see how this relates to the placement of the photo. No whitespace is created when the photo is moved to the right, and I still feel that this is the best place for it because it improves readability. In case we are seeing different things, this is what the layout looks like in my browser when the image is to the right https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2SXgphrr8kOWktBWlV0UVBMWjQ/edit?usp=sharing. No vertical whitespace is added. Could you please clarify your reasoning for left alignment? --kikumbob (talk) 14:19, 23 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I did not steal from you sandbox.

Woah. I had all good intention. Look at the page history next time. I created the article before I found your damn sandbox and the reason I found it was because of google. Google gives you wikipedia sandboxes as well. So when I found it I looked at it and found some more interesting things about Lee that could be properly be added to the page and I added it. At the same time I felt sorry because at that moment I realized that you wanted to create the article but I had done it before you so I gave you credit for the extra information. THAT IS ALL.

I do not steal. Lets get that out of the way. Again, I will repeat, I do not steal under any circumstances. I have no history of stealing from anywhere on wikipedia or off and I dont like being accused of it. ESPECIALLY when I did not steal in first place and that a simple observation of the page history and the way I created the article would have shown you that (What I mean from that is that if you actually looked at your sandbox and the page I created you will see sharp contrasts to both pages.). --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 11:31, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your comments are pure obfuscation and you are wrong on so many counts. The article Elliot Lee was created by me last night at 21:45. Your incorrectly spelled Elliott Lee was created at 22:19 (ie after mine). Yes the stub was different but within an hour you had added stuff you had ripped-off from my Sandbox - very bad etiquette. Three points - 1/ How do you know what is in my Sandbox to be correct? 2/ Did you bother to check the correct name of the individual? 3/ I'm not that bothered if you like or don't like my comments, other people Sandboxes are not for you to copy.--Egghead06 (talk) 12:41, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You added sources in your sandbox. I only copied and pasted stuff that was sourced. As for my misspelling. Sorry, human error. Unless we are robots. You could have just told me that instead of accusing me of a crime. Its simple. Delete or redirect my page and tell me about and done. I just wanted to give you credit, is that actually wrong. I know wikipedia says so but use some common sense instead of making quick accusations. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 13:14, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You only compound your actions by your statement "I only copied and pasted stuff that was sourced". Don't do it.--Egghead06 (talk) 13:44, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removing a picture because of copyright issues is fair enough, although I did try (unsuccessfully) to credit the source. However, the obsession with timestamps is absolutely irrational. What is so difficult to understand or accept about "match played (example) 23 Dec"? There is no need to document the specific second, minute, hour, day, week, month, year, decade in which you edited a page. With all the inconsistent and questionable content on various Wikipedia pages, I think certain people have their priorities in the wrong places. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.44.241.26 (talk) 19:00, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't difficult. Firstly I am conforming to the style which has been adopted by consensus by fellow editor - see Template:Infobox football biography. Secondly it is not one of my priorities but if a style has been adopted and I agree with it I conform. If I don't agree I ignore it and don't go near that area when editing as to do otherwise is considered disruptive. Continually going against the style for timestamps is such behaviour - hence 'people' being blocked for doing so . As I have stated to you before, how easy is it to replace the date with five of these '~' when we know the figures in the box are correct. Quicker than typing a date and has been set-up for our convenience. Not for me to tell other editors what to do but maybe let this one go and improve the articles on Irish footballers. You obviously are interested in this subject. Adding well referenced narrative helps. As for the content on other pages Wiki will always quote you WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS.--Egghead06 (talk) 06:24, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oh well I did try!!!!--Egghead06 (talk) 15:44, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2012–13 West Ham United F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chris Foy (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Edit to Billy Bridgeman

Good evening I made edits twice to Billy Bridgeman.I am his Great Grandaughter and have his birth, marriage and death certificates showing correct dates and therefore age at death. Please could you let me know why you've changed it back again? If I need to do something to prove I have these documents, please let me know as I'm new to wikipedia. I would like to get this info correct. You may have taken info from other articles online about him, but the dates people have used are incorrect. Thank you in advance...hoping I've posted this in the right place. Bridgemanphillips (talk) 10:23, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello - I have moved this discussion to here. I hope the info here will give you what you need.--Egghead06 (talk) 10:42, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Updating stats

Hi there, when updating the infobox, please also remember to also update the 'Career statistics table' if appropriate, such as in Mohamed Diamé. Regards, GiantSnowman 12:55, 4 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
