Elisa A. Gaudet is an American lifestyle correspondent, award winning writer, and entrepreneur specializing in the Golf industry. Her first book: Two Good Rounds - 19th Hole Stories from the World’s Greatest Golfers was published in December, 2011 and chronicles the "19th hole" behaviors of several well-known professional golfers. She is also known for her syndicated sports column and blog "On The Lip" from which, articles have been selected for publication in The Huffington Post[1], New England Golf Monthly, Florida Golf Central and a number of other media outlets since 2003.

Early Life & Career

Born in Arlington, Massachusetts to parents Paul and Marie Gaudet - Elisa began golfing at the age of fourteen. After High School she attended George Mason University and received an undergraduate degree in English Writing and Art History. Gaudet then went on to enroll in graduate studies at Stanford in International Policy but left after two semesters to pursue a full time modeling career. During this time she studied and lived abroad extensively including course studies at the Sorbonne University in Paris, and Imperial College in London as well as time spent modeling in Capetown, South Africa and Tokyo, Japan. In 2000, Elisa began working for the Tour de las Américas and went on to work for the PGA Tour in 2001. In 2003, she founded her own consulting firm Executive Golf International specializing in golf industry marketing, strategic partnerships, and promotions. It was at this time that she also began her ongoing blog and industry column "On The Lip." Since the mid 90's Gaudet has been featured in numerous print and television ads as a model and spokeswoman, and she also played the character of Anne Isley[2] in the television show Nash Bridges starring Don Johnson and Cheech Marin. She resides alternately between New York City, and Palm Beach, Florida.

Two Good Rounds

The title of her first book and subsequent -Golf & Lifestyle- website "Two Good Rounds,"[3] refers to the camaraderie and inherent social nature of the the golfing community. These social interactions between friends who are paradoxically, often competitors, drove Gaudet to begin conducting some of her initial interviews and research during her time with the PGA Tour. Upon publication, in December, 2011 Two Good Rounds - 19th Hole Stories from the World’s Greatest Golfers it featured personal experiences and stories from 36 career members of the Professional Golf Tours. In it's pages some of the greatest golfers of all time share some of their fondest memories of friendship, libations, and celebrations including Arnold Palmer, Ernie Els, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, Jim Furyk, Nancy Lopez, Annika Sorenstam and Natalie Gulbis.

It also includes Arnold Palmer's favorite places to enjoy his eponymous “Half and Half” (half unsweetened ice tea and half lemonade), and a late night celebration for Ernie Els hosted by Nick Price at the Historic Jigger Inn next to the Old Course Hotel of St. Andrews among many other anecdotes such as the old tradition of players buying everyone in the clubhouse a round of drinks after a hole in one. Although not exclusively about drinking, many of the 19th hole experiences shared and experienced by Gaudet involved Country Club or "Clubhouse" bars, or other celebratory watering holes which accounts for the martini glass in the Two Good Rounds logo (above). In addition to the book, Gaudet's lifestyle website TwoGoodRounds.com offers merchandise including tote bags, flasks, and hats, as well as a destination management tab entitled "Golf TRIPS" offering exclusive golf travel packages that combine the best of golf and lifestyle activities in each location.
