Please don't add citation tags to something that is already sourced. The lead doesn't need sources if the material is sourced in the article. Dougweller (talk) 17:50, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I'm sorry about that. I'm just used to seeing: claimcitation so that I can just click on the citation to find out more details from the original source.

Not a problem. I forgot to give you a link to WP:LEAD. Sometimes leads do have citations unnecessarily, sometimes there are good reasons for a few, but most leads have very few to none. Dougweller (talk) 04:47, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you.

This is absolutely incorrect:

The acid catalyst itself (AH) only contributes to the rate acceleration by shifting the chemical equilibrium between solvent S and AH in favor of the SH+ species. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.191.189.239 (talk) 14:28, 5 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but we probably shouldn't just leave the whole equilibrium business out of the page... -- עבד יהוה talk
